Casa Querencia

Integrity Housing partnered with Community Development Partners and Mercy House to build Casa Querencia, formerly known as Aqua, which provides 57 newly constructed units of Permanent Supportive Housing and comprehensive onsite services for Santa Ana’s formerly chronically homeless individuals, including those experiencing severe mental illness. The community is configured as a series of three buildings; two dwelling units and the third hosting on-site management, case management, and service provider offices. Amenities include a gym, lounge, computer room, community room and outdoor deck gathering spaces. Outside amenities include a large lawn area for sports and leisure activities, BBQ with picnic area, and gardening beds.

The project is supported through funding from the County of Orange’s Special Needs Housing Program, a State of California Department of Housing and Community Development funded Infill Infrastructure Grant, a new Section-8 HAP contract for 56 project-based vouchers administered through the City of Santa Ana Housing Authority, and 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and Tax-Exempt bonds.
